Huddle House in Batesville

Food was good but oily

Normally I like Huddle house but on Feb 20, 2020 we stopped at huddle house in a little town called Duck Hill Mississippi they were out of everything no orange juice no milk chocolate or white out of most drinks had no butter and made us pay full price even though we couldn't get grits with our meal since they didnt have butter the price should have been less i didnt order anything to drink since what few things they had was not anything i liked. In Alabama when huddle house runs out of things they send someone to a store to get what's needed in Duck hill a store was connected to huddle house and they couldn't walk over there to get what they needed REALLY. Dont think I'll be back there the price was ridiculous it was clean restaurant but to not get what you paying for sux

Food was decent, what you would expect but the service was bad. we were asked if we were ready the moment we were greeted and asked two more times in five minutes. There were only two other tables there. My son was out of a drink for a good fifteen minutes and mine had something floating in it.. not a big deal, not the server's fault but I didn't get to ask for a new drink because she never came back until after our food was ready.

Great service! Jennifer, Loki and Colton were great! We were in our way from Saint Louis and we stopped for a quick bite, they were fast, friendly and fun!

Ask for Mandy,great food value,will be back.All staff is great great food value, good portions,great coffee.

Decent place to sit down and eat

Need to clean up huddle house in batesville, ms. And also need a good cook. The last one was very good.

We waited a almost a hour to get our food and it wasnt right my steak was rare and cold i order it medium my wife's eggs we're done she ordered them over medium and they were cold we where the only customers at this time so i dont understand

Service was awful it took almost an hour to get our food. We had a bad experience a few months back and we tried to give them another shot and that will be the last time. Our food was even cold when we got it and the place wasn't even that busy.

Waited an hour to get food. It came out cold. Told waitress my extra brown waffle was cold and she had the audacity to put it back in waffle iron. Horrible food and service. Please find a new staff and cook.

This is a crying dang shame that it takes a hour to get food and you sit at a table for 15 minutes before they acknowledge you're there. Never again

Great food and service

The food was fine. We didn't much care for how the cook/manager (?) was talking to the two employees. Felt real bad for the waitress who took care of us. We think she was fairly new and possibly not trained properly. She was pleasant and did receive a tip.

The food was good, and service was ok.

Super busy, another patron that came in after me was waited on before I was. But, when I got waited on, waitress said she'd take care of me, & she did! I got my food pronto!! Tables weren't cleaned off quickly, don't know if they were shorthanded, but it WAS busy & only 2 waitresses.

We had a coupon and stopped in for lunch. We ordered the prime rib tips. They came with 2 sides each. We chose green beans, onion rings and a couple salads. We loved everything. I've not had a better meal for 3 times the price. Our server, Michael took great care of us. He went above and beyond to cater to our needs. We will definitely be back there again and soon.💯

This place is always dirty food order was in wrong silverware was dirty asked for plastic silverware but only got one we needed 5 My kids cheese fries had old sour cheese sauce we never got our biscuits and gravy grits and toast the place was ice cold with no heat on a cold night a ceiling tile was missing with cold air rushing down. $ 60.00 wasted we didn’t get what we paid for and what we did get was unfit to eat on the way home I started feeling sick to my stomach. No laying down at home nauseous as could be wishing I had went to Waffle House...

Omelet was just fried eggs laid on top of meat and cheese.

Waitress on phone arguing with another employee while cook got drinks took our orders. Fast service but due to omelette soaked in oil I could not get it down. Cook was quick to replace it but too little too late

Service was not that great food was good

Took forever for people to get their food and it was cold when people got it. After about 40 minutes we got up and left along with several other customers. I will never stop at a Huddle House again.

Great food and friendly service

The food was nasty the grill was so dirty that my hashbrowns and eggs were black coloring to them The language on what I believe to be the manager (at least she was the one who could get change out of the office) was horrible she was more interested in talking on her phone talking about moving to cook her food properly. The biscuits you could have dented the walls with.want go back the menus were stuck together and soured smelling when we did get them apart. The pineapple was brown very disappointed and we were there at 2pm

Don't waste time OR money... Took over an HOUR to get our cold food and yes I said cold. Will never go back... Regret not going to Cracker Barrel, hell Waffle House would've been 100x better than this. Some customers had to sit at dirty tables waiting for them to be cleaned. Unacceptable... 2 months later still no call back from corporate

First time eating Huddle House, placed my order online and it wasn't ready when I got there. The cook started after the waitress let her know I was there. I got my food, it looked good, tasted decent, HOWEVER, it made me sick. Won't be back to any Huddle House.

Only reason Im giving this star is because I have to!! Never coming back service was horrible and the cook just as worse sent food back and it still was wrong never got some of it!! The Waffle House down the street will get all my business from now on

Insanely long wait to get half a waffle that was cold. 2 cooks had the audacity to complaining about tables leaving when it took them 15min to even start cooking our order. Open kitchen with unprofessional chatter ongoing. Will not be back!

I ordered online and everything was awesome! I wanted biscuits and gravy but was told they were out when I went to pick up my food. No big deal though the toast and grits were good and I had more than enough food. Great And friendly service from employees as well!

Terrible. Slow service. Order was wrong but ate it anyway because I did not want to wait any longer. Will never go to another Huddle House anywhere.

The food was excellent! The waiter was attentive and yet not pushy. The prices are fair. I had a really enjoyable evening.

Restaurant not clean, service was horrible, order not taken until 30 later and we waited 45 min for our food that was cold when the waitress bought it to us. She forgot my pancakes, so we had to ask for them, bought them out no syrup, had to ask for it, toast with no jelly. On a road but will never stop a Huddle House in Batesville MS ever again.

I brought my kids here for kids eat free, the staff was wonderful, food was great, they have a new staff, new manager named Loki and she is making a huge difference! I will definately be back!

5 stars service was great smiling faces
